About the position

The Research Analyst position at Inside Information involves managing and auditing data transfers, communicating with clients, and performing analytics and visualizations to support decision-making. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to define goals and interpret findings, ensuring data integrity and quality while assisting with project management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and audit recurring file transfers.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define survey goals and generate actionable insights.
• Plan presentations of survey results through analytics and visualizations.
• Assist with project management tasks, coordinating and documenting project details.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of survey results while monitoring key metrics.
• Generate lists using basic querying techniques to support data analysis and reporting.
• Enhance data quality through cleansing, deduplication, and validation.
• Identify efficiencies in processes and leverage technology to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in file management tools such as FTP, SFTP, and secure email protocols.
• Experience with basic querying techniques and data enhancement.
• Proficiency with basic analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, Splunk, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• PowerBI certification required within one year of employment (paid by Inside Information).
