About the position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking Research Analysts to join its Research Department, which plays a crucial role in conducting policy analysis, producing academic research, and providing strategic insights on monetary policy and economic issues. Responsibilities

  • Support the research of the Bank's economists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (completed by the summer of 2025) with emphasis in economics or a closely related field, such as finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Knowledge of monetary policy and macroeconomics preferred.
  • Working knowledge of econometrics and statistics packages, such as Stata, MATLAB, R, or Python.
  • Prior research experience in economics strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with economic modeling and forecasting techniques.
