About the position

YipitData is seeking a Research Analyst to join their expanding research team. This role focuses on developing fundamental research for subscription-based data products, leveraging data to provide actionable insights for investment research. The ideal candidate will have a background in equity research or management consulting, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and communicate valuable insights from datasets.
• Derive trends from large datasets using SQL-driven analysis.
• Collaborate with the data team to develop new research products and features.
• Build and maintain customer relationships as a trusted resource for subscribers.
• Work with Sales, Client Strategy, and Marketing teams to position products effectively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in equity research or management consulting.
• Background in equity research or business analysis with a focus on data-driven investing.
• Commitment to learning new technology skills and coding.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves
