Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analyst to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply. As a Research Analyst, you will conduct comprehensive research, analyze data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques, and provide insights to support decision making and strategic planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations. Your responsibilities will include gathering data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research, as well as developing reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate research findings to stakeholders. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes, assist in the design and implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection, and support the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.
  • Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of data collection and survey design.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
