As a Research Analyst at Uline, you will play a crucial role in uncovering captivating narratives that drive our business forward. This position requires a natural curiosity and a passion for research, as you will be tasked with investigating diverse topics ranging from emerging industry trends to competitor strategies. Your findings will be presented to inform and guide our growing business, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of our industry. This is an on-site position, and we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence and teamwork. In this role, you will utilize various tools, including Excel, to interpret and analyze data, transforming raw numbers into insightful stories that can influence decision-making. You will curate market research, distilling complex information into easy-to-understand executive summaries, visual aids, and presentations that can be shared with senior management and other stakeholders. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with different business units to understand their challenges and recommend effective solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for giving presentations on industry competitors and other relevant topics, showcasing your findings and insights to the team. Responsibilities

  • Investigate and interpret data using tools like Excel to transform numbers and research into insightful stories.
  • Curate market research to distill complex information into easy-to-digest executive summaries, visual aids, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their challenges and recommend solutions to senior management.
  • Give presentations about industry competitors and other relevant topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ year in Research, Analytics, Journalism / Reporting or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
