About the position

The Research Analyst will support the Global Partnerships team at NBCUniversal by delivering data related to the Global Linear TV and Digital portfolio. This role is crucial for providing insights to the commercial team and external clients, as well as supporting broader research projects across various departments within the NBCU Advertising business. The analyst will collaborate with global researchers to enhance sales positioning and reporting efforts, focusing on analyses that articulate the global offering and deliver client-specific insights for the advertising and client RFP process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the US Research Director in delivering data for Global Partnership sales collateral and RFP responses.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Global Partnerships Research response to RFP process, delivering data to internal sales teams in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Global Partnerships team in EMEA and APAC on strategic projects to streamline internal processes and workflows.
  • Analyze and interpret Linear, streaming, and digital data.
  • Conduct analysis of syndicated surveys and web analytics tools such as Globalwebindex.
  • Conduct, analyze, and interpret bespoke custom research studies.
  • Integrate disparate data sources from multiple countries into coherent marketplace positioning analysis.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role at a broadcaster or publisher.
  • Experience with Crosstab software such as GWI or IMS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and ComScore.
  • Experience in dashboarding and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
  • Ability to communicate key findings using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to research and data interpretation.
  • Curiosity about consumer behavior and media usage.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in anticipating and delivering on sales/marketing requests.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
