The Research Analyst position at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is a full-time role focused on analyzing data and conducting research to provide insights into the Northern Virginia job market and student employment outcomes. Collaboration with colleagues in the Office of Strategic Insights and other departments is essential, as is the ability to provide research and data analysis support for various projects as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytic and computer skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to clean and wrangle data in various formats. They should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong communication skills are necessary for presenting data insights to diverse audiences, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively is crucial. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are also important attributes for success in this role.
