The Research and Business Analyst position at Tallahassee Community College is situated within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and reports directly to the Director of Institutional Research and Planning. This role is pivotal as it serves as the central data source for both internal and external requests for information about the College. The primary responsibilities include conducting data collection, performing statistical analysis, and presenting data in a clear and informative manner. The analyst will also assist and train users across various college departments in accessing data, creating reports, and interpreting the information effectively. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of research processes, including data collection, analysis, standardized reporting, and statistical reporting. Familiarity with the postsecondary educational environment, particularly community colleges, is highly desired. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, as the analyst will need to troubleshoot data anomalies and implement creative solutions.
