About the position

The Research and Program Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the Substance Abuse Recovery department, serving as the central point for client care coordination and reporting. This position focuses on providing evidence-based support to staff, ensuring effective collaboration across various programs, and managing case supervision duties. The specialist will interact with multiple agencies and stakeholders, requiring a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based practice program and research assistance to staff.
  • Coordinate client care and ensure effective tracking between all SCOSAR Programs.
  • Manage human services case management and supervise staff cases.
  • Interact frequently with various agencies, including business owners, healthcare directors, and law enforcement managers.
  • Translate client services into appropriate data tracking for Opioid Settlement Funding.
  • Support collaborative client work and ensure best practice support based on research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional office experience managing human services clients and needs.
