Responsibilities

• Maintain supplies and inventory in the laboratory.
• Prepare media and reagents for experiments.
• Maintain eukaryotic and bacterial cultures and stocks.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is functioning properly.
• Keep accurate laboratory notebook entries documenting procedures and observations.
• Run microbiological and cellular assays, including cytotoxicity and anti-tubercular activity.
• Perform laboratory procedures as part of ongoing research projects.
• Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results to assist in planning experiments.

Requirements

• At least one year of college coursework with emphasis in Biology and Chemistry or other sciences.
• At least six months of related research lab experience, or equivalent education/experience such as a bachelor's degree in a related field.
