Responsibilities

  • Assist undergraduate/graduate students conducting research in food analytical lab.

  • Procure laboratory materials and supplies and maintain lab instruments and their service contracts.
  • Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, including statistical analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • M.S. in Biological/Agricultural Sciences from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of food analysis and chemistry in food quality and functional properties.
  • Experience with general lab and analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, GC-MS, etc.).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team-based environment.
