The Research Assistant I position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the field of biomedical research. Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform a variety of standard laboratory procedures, analyze data, interpret results, and troubleshoot methods as necessary. The role may involve assisting in the design of experiments and providing routine maintenance of laboratory equipment. Candidates should have a strong interest in molecular biology techniques, including cloning and single-cell qPCR, as well as protein purification. An enthusiasm for cutting-edge technologies such as single-cell characterization, sequencing, and protein engineering is essential. This position requires a team player who is capable of developing their own projects while contributing to a highly interactive lab environment.
