Research Assistant I

About the position

Center for BrainHealth is seeking an independent worker to fill a full-time position to assist with the implementation of an online research study. This person would provide administrative and clinical assistance and conduct research activities according to research protocol. Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: patient recruitment and screening, scheduling, online assessments and other research related activities. A willingness to learn other applications related to the research project is a must. In addition, this position would serve as the first point of contact on other research projects and provide administrative help as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and administer assessments for ongoing research study and ensure assessments are completed in a timely manner.
• Update notebooks and records as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences (i.e. speech language pathology, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or other allied science) or an advanced degree in health policy.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and other dementias.
• Experience with clinical assessments in impaired populations.
• Experience with online research databases.
• Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
