The Research Assistant II position at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) is a part-time, temporary role focused on supporting a federally funded project aimed at enhancing knowledge and infrastructure for TSLGBTQIA+ Indigenous communities in Santa Fe County. The role involves collaboration with the project director and the Santa Fe Indigenous Center to implement program activities, conduct data collection, and assist in preparing reports and presentations. This position is ideal for individuals with some college education and relevant experience in social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Support and facilitate implementation of program activities in collaboration with the project director and Santa Fe Indigenous Center.
• Ensure timely completion of project activities and deliverables.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and poise.
• Conduct data collection and manage data effectively.
• Assist in preparing findings for reports, manuscripts, and presentations for community groups and funders.
• Coordinate meetings and events according to project timelines and goals.
• Engage in community outreach using social media to connect with targeted communities.

Requirements

• Some college coursework completed or an Associate's degree.
• 2 years of applicable social science experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
