About the position

The Department of Neurology in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking a part-time Research Faculty member to conduct an implementation science project focused on pharmacogenomics and stroke risk. This role requires the individual to organize and conduct all aspects of the research project, ensuring that all components are effectively managed and executed. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), clinical research coordinators, medical laboratory collaborators, and the stroke faculty and residents to facilitate the research process. The anticipated effort for this position is 20% Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), indicating a part-time commitment that allows for flexibility in scheduling while still contributing significantly to the research objectives. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have earned a PharmD degree.
