About the position

The University of Virginia School of Law is seeking candidates for a small number of limited-term, non-tenure-track Research Assistant Professor faculty positions beginning in August 2023. These new faculty members will join a vibrant scholarly community in the School of Law, which takes pride in its collegial and supportive environment. Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or foreign equivalent degree strongly preferred.
  • In exceptional cases, a terminal degree in the applicant's field (e.g., a Ph.D.) will be considered.
  • Distinguished academic and professional background and superior scholarly promise expected.
