The RA will report directly to Dr. Sreejith Nair, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology, and will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the lab's research objectives. The RA's responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of reagent and instrument purchases, as well as managing the chemical and biological inventory. The role also involves assisting the PI and other lab members in conducting experiments, recording data, and analyzing results. The RA will engage in both laboratory research and managerial activities, collaborating with other lab members to perform experiments, analyze data, and procure research materials. Additionally, the RA will work closely with vendors and the Georgetown purchase department to ensure the accuracy of deliverables, while also striving to produce quality scientific work, publish research papers, and secure grant funding.
