About the position

The Department of Physical Therapy in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Research Assistant Scientist. This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position that spans 12 months, with a focus on respiratory neural control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in research, demonstrated by a robust publication record and experience in securing extramural grant funding. Candidates are expected to have a PhD or equivalent degree, with preferred qualifications including expertise in respiratory physiology and translational research, current grant funding, and advanced post-doctoral training.
