About the position

A highly motivated and highly creative person is sought to join Dong Laboratory studying formulation and drug delivery. The researcher in this position will have opportunity to study oral formulation technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting research, including collecting information and/or samples culture cells, and handle animals for pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution studies.
  • Analyze experimental data and interpret results to write reports and make an experimental protocol.
  • Participate in other projects as assigned.
  • Operate specialized scientific equipment.
  • Set up, clean, and maintain laboratory and field equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and skills in using a range of software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SPSS, STATA.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; perform other administrative/clerical tasks.
  • Aptitude in general laboratory procedures, techniques, and documentation.
  • Ability to acquire competence in new techniques.
