About the position

This posting is for a Research Assistant in the Center for Aging and Health. Under general supervision, this position will perform ad-hoc research activities to support a grant-funded project. The proposed study entails supporting technology-based interventions in older adults. This individual will assist with data management, project management, and organization of previously conducted activities. Candidates for this position should possess excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection
  • Perform data entry
  • Monitor and report data
  • Support other study-related tasks
  • Communicate effectively with Principal Investigators (PI) and study team
  • Adhere to standards of proper study conduct in compliance with the FDA Code of Federal Regulations and Good Clinical Practice
  • Inform and assist PIs with issues that arise during study execution
  • Aid with preparation for monitoring or audits
  • Help in the collection of study results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • High degree of accuracy in data collection and entry
  • Knowledge of research ethics
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to organize tasks and time efficiently
