About the position
Our clinical research company is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Research Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess certification such as phlebotomy or similar, and have a desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with direct patient care activities: physical assessments, blood draws, medication administration, ECG, etc.
- Take ownership of assigned studies and patients.
- Communicate promptly and effectively with leadership and coworkers.
- Ensure strict compliance to the laws, regulations, and requirements of all applicable governing bodies.
- Learn and use the technologies provided to increase efficiency in day-to-day activities.
- Maintain clean data entry, regulatory compliance, productive site visits, efficient study set-up and maintenance, lab cleanliness, and strict protocol adherence.
Requirements
- Certification such as phlebotomy or similar.
- Desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting.
- Skilled at taking patient vitals.
- Ability to stay focused while running different protocols and tracking patient reports.
- Good communication skills to foster relationships with the research team, PIs, Sponsors, Monitors, and others.
- Acute attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in clinical research or a related field.
- Familiarity with technologies used in clinical research.
