About the position

The University of Utah is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Research Assistant to join our team in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery Operations. The Research Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various research projects by assisting in the gathering, analyzing, and organizing of data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting literature reviews and preparing reports that contribute to the overall success of the research initiatives. In this role, the Research Assistant will be expected to review patient research imaging, including CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays. This involves completing medical record chart reviews on research patients to ensure that all necessary information is accurately documented and compliant with regulatory requirements for research projects. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and study teams to organize and collect data effectively, ensuring that all research activities are conducted in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities
