About the position
Our clinical research company is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Research Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess certification such as phlebotomy or similar, and have a desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of assigned studies and patients
- Communicating promptly and effectively with leadership and coworkers when questions arise or corrections are needed
- Showing up on time, every time
- Ensuring strict compliance with laws, regulations, and requirements of all applicable governing bodies
- Learning and using provided technologies to increase efficiency in day-to-day activities
- Fostering relationships between the research team, PIs, Sponsors, Monitors, and others
Requirements
- Certification such as phlebotomy or similar
- Desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting
- Skilled at taking patient vitals
- Ability to perform and assist with direct patient care activities: physical assessments, blood draws, medication administration, ECG, etc.
- Acute attention to detail for clean data entry, regulatory compliance, productive site visits, efficient study set-up and maintenance, lab cleanliness, and strict protocol adherence
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stay focused while running different protocols, tracking patient reports, and maintaining eSource material for assigned studies
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in clinical research
- Familiarity with Gastroenterology, Urology, Dermatology, and/or Oncology
