The Research in Spatial Cognition (RISC) Lab at Temple University is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to join their team on the main campus. This position is integral to the lab's mission, focusing on spatial reasoning projects. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Shipley, taking on a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the smooth operation of the lab. The role includes managing day-to-day lab operations, overseeing research grants administration and accounting, and ensuring compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols. Additionally, the Research Assistant will be responsible for recruiting study participants, designing and creating stimuli for experiments, and supervising undergraduate research assistants. This position also offers the opportunity to collaborate on research projects of personal interest with Dr. Shipley, fostering a dynamic and engaging research environment.
