About the position

The Research Assistant position at ICON plc is a full-time role focused on supporting clinical trials. The role involves direct patient contact and ensuring that all clinical trial activities are conducted according to the clinical trial protocol. The Research Assistant will perform tasks in compliance with ICON's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FDA regulations, and ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, while also participating in relevant meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of clinical trials as outlined by the clinical trial protocol.
• Ensure compliance with ICON Early Phase Services SOPs, FDA, and ICH GCP.
• Maintain proper source documentation techniques.
• Participate in clinical trial meetings and training as required by study protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in clinical research or related fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with medical assistant training/certification or other allied health certification.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Paramedic, EMT, LVN, or RN, preferably with two years of experience.
• Maintain current job-related competencies, certifications, and/or licensure.
