About the position

The Research Associate in Assay Development at Quanterix will provide technical and operational support for the development and sustaining of ultrasensitive immunoassay products. This role is crucial in advancing precision health through innovative biomarker analysis, enabling earlier disease detection and better treatment outcomes. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively to drive complex projects to completion, ensuring high-quality data generation and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures and operate a wide range of instruments.
• Generate high-quality data in support of immunoassay development and validation.
• Collaborate with scientists to design and execute development, troubleshooting, and process optimization experiments.
• Support product optimization and new product development in line with business objectives.
• Track and summarize experimental data to support data-driven decision-making for assay development.
• Implement best practices and process improvements in the laboratory.
• Document all activities in accordance with good documentation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
• 2+ years of experience working with immunoassays.
• Experience with preparation and handling of complex and sensitive bio-reagents.

Nice-to-haves

• Application of good laboratory and good manufacturing practices.
• Ability to support multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
• Experience with pre-analytical sample processing and performing immunoassays on human biospecimens.
• Experience with development and/or validation of assay products.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
