About the position

This role is part of Baxter's journey to separate its Kidney Care segment into a standalone company named Vantive, which aims to build on nearly 70 years of legacy in acute therapies and dialysis. At Vantive, you will be part of a community focused on improving patients' lives and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in kidney care and other vital organ support. In this role, you will conduct research experiments and analyze data to determine the properties and performance of polymer materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new formulations and optimize existing ones, assisting in the design and implementation of experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of polymer materials. Additionally, you will develop technical reports and presentations to effectively communicate research findings to relevant individuals or groups. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in polymer materials will be essential, as you contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research experiments and analyze data to determine the properties and performance of polymer materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new formulations and optimize existing ones.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of polymer materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in polymer materials research, including hands-on laboratory work.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Meticulous and capable of closely following research protocols and safety guidelines.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $96,000 to $132,000 annually.
