About the position

The Research Associate position at a rapidly growing biotechnology company focuses on supporting drug development projects, particularly in the field of immunology. The role involves conducting pivotal research projects that utilize various immunological assays and mammalian cell-based techniques to analyze immune responses and contribute to the advancement of drug development.

Responsibilities

• Support protein expression, purification, and molecular biology through mammalian expression vectors.
• Perform chromatographic protein purification techniques such as affinity, IEX, HIC, and SEC.
• Utilize a variety of protein analytical techniques.
• Analyze immune responses using techniques including cell culture, neutralization assays, and ELISAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Biology, Biochemistry, etc).
• 1+ year of research experience (can be from undergrad/academia).
• Strong background in mammalian cell lines and tissue culture.
• Experience with transfection, culture, and protein expression in mammalian cell lines.
• Experience with immunological assays.
