In the role of Research Associate, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with faculty and staff learning engineers to develop and implement technology-enhanced learning (TEL) strategies in course design, particularly for online and hybrid courses. This position involves supporting the creation of online course versions aimed at certificate-based education and adapting existing courses for educational technology entrepreneurs, particularly in Africa and beyond. The Research Associate will play a crucial role in identifying and creating learning objectives, course content, and instructional assets that align with program goals and enhance the learning experience. The position requires a proactive approach to integrating relevant technology options and instructional principles into course design. The Research Associate will utilize their knowledge of Arabic and/or French to assist in translating educational materials, ensuring accessibility for diverse learners. Additionally, the role may involve developing scenario-based training lessons for the PLUS program, focusing on math tutoring, and engaging in tutoring activities. A willingness to learn new skills, such as data analytics, is essential to support course development and related research projects.
