About the position

The Research Associate position involves assisting in various research projects and performing investigative research related to specific studies. The role requires adherence to experimental protocols and the development of new procedures, contributing to data collection and analysis under the guidance of senior investigators.

Responsibilities

• Assists in various research projects and performs investigative research relating to specific research projects.
• Carries out clinical and research activities as directed.
• Performs research and/or development work under the guidance of an investigator, associate investigator, or assistant investigator.
• Follows and adheres to experimental protocols in a proficient and meticulous manner.
• Develops new experimental protocols and learns new experimental procedures as necessary.
• Responsible for the collection of data and may contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research data.
• Completes correspondence, database maintenance, and maintains records and charts.
• Participates in laboratory meetings and journal clubs as appropriate.
• May provide technical direction to Research Assistants as needed.
• Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience required.
• Prior experience working in a research lab setting, preferably with animal models or cell culture techniques, preferred.
