About The Position

As a Research Associate at Hopewell, you will work closely with scientists to advance multiple aspects of our R&D programs focused on the development of therapeutics for various disease indications. This role is predominantly laboratory/wet bench-based and requires strong attention to detail, the ability to deliver quality data in a timely manner, and effective collaboration with team members. You will have the opportunity to drive the success of projects while learning and acquiring new techniques under scientific mentoring and supervision.

Requirements

• BS/MS in cell/molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, or a related scientific field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in academic or industry setting
• Attention to detail and record keeping and a passion for accuracy and precision are highly desired
• Effective written/verbal communication skills
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Drive scientific efforts by conducting experiments alongside Scientists in the laboratory
• Support the implementation of novel discovery platforms and assays
• Collaborate and communicate with other team members across various functional areas
• Assist scientists with animal procedures
• Maintain industry-quality laboratory records, protocols, and experimental data
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
