With the world's largest database of more than fifteen million genotyped customers, 23andMe is at the forefront of using human genetics to advance biomedical research and transform healthcare. Join our growing research team in translating genetic discoveries into insights into molecular biology of human traits and diseases. As a Research Associate, you will serve as a liaison between 23andMe and potential collaborators by helping them select appropriate collaboration programs and navigate the application processes. You will prepare guidance materials for the Customer Care team to use when responding to emails from research participants, investigate and resolve participant issues that require escalation to the Research team, and conduct eligibility screening for research studies. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Communications team to plan blog posts and other press activities for impactful publications. Your role will also involve working closely with scientists on the Research, Product, and Therapeutics teams to prepare, track, and submit applications for external genomics datasets in government repositories or biobanks. You will take meeting minutes, track action items, organize documentation, issue compensation to research participants, and route study materials for stakeholder approval and IRB submission.
