Responsibilities

  • Provide support for specified research projects under direct supervision.
  • Collect, assess, and communicate data/results.
  • Assist in general laboratory operation and inventory.
  • Run experiments, assays, and record results under supervision.
  • Follow experimental protocols and handle tissue samples per protocol.
  • Record, compile, interpret, and communicate data/results effectively.
  • Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and University guidelines.
  • Maintain inventories and prepare reagents.
  • Clean equipment and work effectively in a team of interdisciplinary researchers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Physics or Chemistry.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain training in spectroscopy and multivariate statistical methods.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to present data and results in a laboratory meeting setting.
