The Program Manager for the UCHMC and the UCDCCC Multi-site Trial Program (MiST) will provide project management, protocol start-up, and regulatory requirements for study start-up, as well as clinical research coordination as capacity indicates and based on individual study budget limitations and portfolio size. This position requires a high level of organization and the ability to work cooperatively with activation, clinical, and regulatory teams across multiple campuses. The Program Manager will develop and implement a dynamic and efficient infrastructure to assist the UCHMC and the MiST portfolio in opening, recruiting, and managing Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) across all five UC Cancer Centers. This role will involve collaboration with numerous clinical and administrative departments to ensure operational efficiency and success of the program. Additionally, the Program Manager will work closely with the OCR Executive Director, OCR staff, UCHMC staff, and other applicable departments to facilitate growth of the program, maintain protocol compliance, and ensure the safe delivery of high-quality care to trial participants. The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCDCCC) is a matrix organization under the aegis of UC Davis Health and University of California, Davis. Designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center is a clinical and research enterprise consisting of 258 faculty members from the Davis, Sacramento, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory campuses with research funding totaling $54M and a robust Clinical Research Program with over 200 trials (Phase I-III) open to accrual at any given time. As part of the Center's expanding clinical research program, UCDCCC has partnered with its fellow University of California Cancer Centers and other NCI-designated cancer centers to conduct multi-center investigator-initiated clinical trials (IITs) in hematology and oncology and other cancer types. These activities are overseen by the University of California Hematologic Malignancies Consortium (UCHMC) and the UCDCCC's Office of Clinical Research (OCR).
