About the position

The Research Compliance Analyst I position at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is an entry-level role focused on supporting the protocol submission process for clinical research. The analyst will assist in reviewing research protocols, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring the integrity of the NRG Oncology Biospecimen Bank's operations. Responsibilities

  • Support the protocol submission process for clinical research.
  • Review and pre-review minimal risk, expedited, or standard procedure research protocols.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining internal standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure records of clinical trial protocols and lab manuals are up to date.
  • Analyze data sets as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assist the Associate Director in protocol maintenance and ensure lab compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuity of the NRG Oncology Biospecimen Bank.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience with digital pathology and database management.
  • Knowledge of human subjects and animal care regulations.
  • Practical knowledge of clinical research and medical terminology.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and office equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Federal Express online shipping.
  • Background in histology and molecular pathology research.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn about research activities.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office proficiency.
