A caregiver in this position works days, from 8:00am—4:30pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will coordinate the compliant implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, typically of medium workload and medium complexity. This includes maintaining regulatory documents and binders, conducting data management, completing IRB submissions, and communicating with the research team. You will report and complete serious adverse events and/or safety logs, and communicate with sponsors, monitors, and research personnel to ensure all aspects of study compliance. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between investigators, research personnel, outside study personnel, and central research administration offices to assist in protocol interpretation, enrollment, and safety questions. You will also schedule pre-site selection visits, site initiation visits, webinars, monitoring, and close-out visits, plan, conduct, and evaluate project protocols and research subject recruitment, monitor and report project status and research data, and complete regulatory documents, data capture, monitoring plans, and protocol-related activities. Finally, you will assist with preparing and responding to audits and maintaining research tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five years of experience as a Research Coordinator II or performing the role of a Research Coordinator II.
  • Bachelor's degree in health care or science related field may substitute two years of experience requirement.
  • Show proficiency with various computer-based skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software).

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in health care or science related field.
  • Scientific educational background.
  • Has 3 or more years of Clinical Research Experience.
  • Has healthcare experience in Cardiology.
  • Is eager and willing to learn, grow, and work as a team.
  • Is very organized and detail-oriented.
  • Has decisive judgment and critical thinking skillset.
