About the position

The Research Data Analyst 2 position at the Oregon Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (OADRC) involves supporting research initiatives focused on Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. This role is crucial for the development, management, and integration of research data systems, ensuring the integrity and quality of data collected for various studies. The analyst will work closely with investigators and study staff to implement electronic data capture tools and maintain databases, contributing to national and international research efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain electronic data capture (EDC) tools and processes for the center.
  • Create front-end dashboards and tracking systems for data management.
  • Develop policies and requirements to ensure protocol and analytic integrity/quality.
  • Create validation methods, tools, and strategies for data accuracy.
  • Process incoming and outgoing data requests and analytics.
  • Provide consultation on electronic data capture for upcoming studies to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Assist with study content creation and development.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in relevant field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of scientific method and human subjects research.
  • Data management experience.
  • Experience with REDCap and other databases.
  • Intermediate and experienced knowledge of Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-accuracy data collection.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Data collection, entry, and management experience.
  • Proficient in REDCap database creation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data analysis experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Qualtrics surveys and data exports.
