About the position

The Research Data Analyst - Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) at Johns Hopkins University will focus on data management, analysis, and reporting to support quality improvement initiatives in New Jersey's early childhood home visiting programs. This role involves collaboration with local partners to interpret data and inform quality improvement efforts, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze administrative datasets, ensuring data quality and organization.
  • Collaborate with New Jersey partners to update quarterly CQI dashboards.
  • Conduct descriptive statistics and basic statistical analyses using Stata.
  • Create and maintain documentation for datasets and ensure they are up to date.
  • Identify and propose solutions to systematic data issues.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with early childhood home visiting programs to discuss quality improvement data.
  • Facilitate discussions and provide coaching to program partners on quality improvement topics.
  • Summarize and present quality improvement data in various formats for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to writing and reviewing reports, presentations, and grant proposals.
  • Maintain knowledge of data security and compliance protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • Three years of related experience in data analysis or quality improvement.
  • Proficiency in Stata and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience with quality improvement principles and methods.
  • Proficiency in additional software packages such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
