About the position

The Vouchers 4 Veggies-EatSF (V4V) program is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Research Data Analyst to join our team and support efforts to embed our produce prescription program within healthcare settings. This position will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare integration, developing and administering surveys, managing financial technology processes, and contributing to various evaluation and data projects. The ideal candidate will have a background and interest in healthcare operations, data analysis, and financial technology. Under the supervision of the Director of Programs & Operations, the Research Data Analyst will assist with a wide variety of activities integral to the successful operation of the V4V program within healthcare settings. Key responsibilities include managing referrals of eligible participants to the Vouchers 4 Veggies-EatSF program, submission and tracking of claims for covered services, and ensuring accurate and timely exchange of routine operational data with health plans. The analyst will serve as the primary liaison to health plans for routine operational matters. Additionally, the role involves providing database management and support, including creating customized forms and reports as needed and supporting general back-end workflows necessary for seamless integration with healthcare systems. The analyst will assist in the development, administration, and data collection for surveys conducted with partner agencies and program participants, preparing survey data for analysis, and supporting survey data analysis and preparation of routine reports to internal stakeholders. The position also includes managing incentive technology processes, such as preparing monthly invoices for our fiscal sponsor, ensuring accuracy and timely submission, compiling and formatting participant data for submission to our card vendor, and assisting with reconciliation and reclassification of both card and voucher data. Customer service support is another key aspect of the role, which involves interfacing with the customer service platform and collating incoming customer service requests to identify recurring themes and common issues. The analyst will also help ensure that all new and existing V4V programming has adequate data and evaluation support. This position requires a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for the V4V model, familiarity with working in a healthcare setting, strong analytical and organizational skills, and facility acquiring and applying new technical skills. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Acquiring knowledge of research function.
  • Acquiring ability to perform research analysis duties.
  • Excellent organization, with efficient multi-tasking capability and proven attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently to solve problems and as a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the program portfolio.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of common computer application programs (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word).
  • Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of/lived experience with food insecurity.
