In this role, the scientist will communicate project needs, provide status updates, and offer technical advice to stakeholders, thereby promoting more efficient and effective project performance. The position also requires the application of scientific methodology and data analysis fundamentals in product development, ensuring that all R&D plans and strategies align with the company's objectives. The scientist will support the implementation of the New Product Development (NPD) process, contributing to the overall success of the company's product offerings. Some travel may be required as part of the role, depending on project needs and business necessities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities to take new and existing products from conceptualization through commercialization.
• Apply knowledge of ingredients and frozen dessert manufacturing processes to complete projects.
• Communicate project needs and status updates to stakeholders.
• Apply scientific methodology and data analysis in product development.
• Support the implementation of the New Product Development (NPD) process.
• Adhere to project management processes and deliver R&D plans in support of company objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food/dairy science or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in food/dairy or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Food Science/Dairy Science and R&D business plans.
