About the position

The Research & Evaluation Analyst - C position at the City of Orlando involves professional work focused on evaluating the effectiveness of services within the juvenile justice system across Central Florida. The position is under the supervision of the Children, Youth, and Families Assistant Division Manager, with work reviewed through meetings and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a portfolio of work to examine the effectiveness of the current service array.
  • Facilitate the review of processes and outcome measures across the Alternatives to Youth Incarceration Project.
  • Gather, compile, and analyze data related to children and youth services.
  • Prepare narrative or statistical reports based on the analysis conducted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Mathematics, Public Policy, Sociology, Urban Studies, or another behavioral health or social science field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in evaluation work in the field of children and youth services.
  • Two (2) years of experience in gathering, compiling, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
  • A valid Florida Driver's License.
