About the position

The Research and Evaluation Data Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating grants and impact investments, ensuring that the organization's efforts positively impact customers. This full-time position involves conducting internal research, creating data visualizations, and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and grant-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive grant evaluation framework aligned with the foundation's mission areas.
  • Lead the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of data related to grant and impact investment impact.
  • Conduct ongoing program evaluations and research projects using statistical software and data visualization tools.
  • Extract data from CRM (Salesforce) databases to create reports and dashboards.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives that showcase the value and impact of the organization's work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in research, program evaluation, or impact assessment in a philanthropic, non-profit, university, or community-based setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Stata) and research databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Passion for mission areas: Human Services, Healthcare, Education, and Jewish Values.
  • Ability to develop and conduct surveys, interviews, focus groups, document review, and field observation.
