About The Position

The Research Program Lead at Arkansas Children's Hospital is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of research projects within the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Requirements

  • Doctoral degree or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with grant writing and editing.

  • Exposure to computational analyses relevant to the microbiome and microbial genomics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program/project implementation and assist with monitoring research projects by meeting regularly with the PI and study team members.
  • Develop and maintain operational support databases and program management tools.
  • Provide support for program-level data collection, entry, analysis, and communication.
  • Lead and/or assist in preparation of annual and periodic data reports for programs and projects.
  • Maintain current and complete manuals of procedures, standard operating procedures, and other relevant documentation.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory requirements for program activities.
  • Assist in the development and submission of grant proposals.
  • Participate in the development of abstracts, posters, presentations, reports, and publications.
  • Provide support with administrative tasks such as scheduling, developing presentations, document development, event planning, marketing, and communications.
