About the position
As a Research Program Manager (RPM) at OpenAI, you will oversee and coordinate research and development efforts across various teams, streamlining workflows and accelerating research discoveries. This role requires strong program management skills, a deep technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet ambitious deadlines and drive impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale research programs, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Drive collaboration between research teams, aligning efforts across different AI initiatives, including model development, data campaigns, and product-aligned research.
- Coordinate the development and integration of AI models and new technologies into research programs and product roadmaps.
- Create and execute compute roadmaps to allocate resources effectively and identify new opportunities for research discovery.
- Act as the communication bridge between researchers, engineers, and product teams to ensure smooth and rapid execution of research initiatives.
Requirements
