About the position

The Research Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of an experienced Project Manager or designee, playing a crucial role in the coordination of various research projects. This position involves assisting with the implementation of research protocols, managing regulatory submissions, and contributing to project planning and tracking. The coordinator will also be responsible for data collection and will assist in the creation of final reports and publications. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the coordinator will support the development and coordination of new projects, ensuring that all activities align with the goals of the Woodbine Musculoskeletal Research Program Team. In this role, the coordinator will collaborate closely with project managers and research investigators to implement research studies effectively. They will track the ordering of supplies and project-related expenses, reviewing study budgets with the project manager to ensure financial compliance. Adherence to federal and other regulatory requirements is paramount, and the coordinator will assist in the development, implementation, and coordination of research protocols. Under supervision, they will implement project plans, providing overall coordination that includes progress tracking, quality control, recruitment, and training of research support staff. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all research project-related activities, assisting the research team in meeting project goals and milestones based on the study design. Effective communication is essential, as the coordinator will need to relay resource needs, project status, and milestones to the project team and project leader. They will also develop and deliver study-specific materials such as tracking logs, templates, monitoring tools, and process manuals. Additionally, the coordinator will submit requests for data extracts according to study protocols and assist with the submission of final reports, study manuscripts, grant applications, and contract initiation requests. The work environment is typically an office setting, and the coordinator is accountable for fulfilling all job-specific obligations while complying with organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
