The GME Research Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating multiple assigned scholarly activity and research project timelines throughout all lifecycle phases. This role involves providing assistance in the development of scholarly activity and research-related documents, and working closely and effectively with physician principal investigators, residents, fellows, research directors, and other members of the scholarly support team, as well as multiple internal clients. The position supports HCA Florida Blake Hospital and HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital, requiring the ability to travel to facilities as needed. The coordinator will develop and maintain knowledge of scholarly activity pathways in Graduate Medical Education (GME) and the healthcare environment. They will contribute to the development of training, tools, and process documentation for both the department and assigned projects. The role requires analytical thinking, effective brainstorming, creativity, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with clients and colleagues. The coordinator must demonstrate the ability to create and deliver effective presentations and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff. Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or Python is essential, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, WebEx).
