About the position

The GME Research Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting Graduate Medical Education (GME) research across multiple HCA Florida hospitals. This position involves coordinating various scholarly activities and research projects, ensuring compliance with data access policies, and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The coordinator will also contribute to the development of training materials and process documentation, while effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple assigned scholarly activity and research project timelines throughout all lifecycle phases.
  • Assist in the development of scholarly activity and research-related documents.
  • Work closely with physician principal investigators, residents, fellows, research directors, and other members of the scholarly support team.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of scholarly activity pathways in GME and the healthcare environment.
  • Contribute to the development of training, tools, and process documentation for the department and assigned projects.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with HCA data access policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in a research-related field required; Master's Degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of project management experience required; clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience in a health services research environment.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Software (SPSS, STATA, R, or Python).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, WebEx).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience using Statistical Software (SPSS, STATA, R, Tableau or Python) or coursework in Biostatistics.
