Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement novel inference techniques and their applications in Sandwood.
• Develop Bayesian models for real-world use cases.
• Publish original research findings.

• Engage with external researchers.

Requirements

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in the theory and practice of Bayesian models and statistics.
• Strong understanding of probabilistic programming.
• Excellent programming and debugging skills in Java.
• Broad understanding of Machine Learning techniques.
• Experience with data preparation, model building, and evaluation.
• Outstanding research track record.
• Experience collaborating in a team environment on research projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
