About the position

The position at Anthropic involves leading technical research focused on AI safety and developing reliable AI systems. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Solid ML-focused Python engineering and research skills, particularly in using and training models.
  • Experience leading and executing technical research with a team.
  • Comfortable with messy experimental science and uncharted territory.
  • Ability to build your own tooling as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and discuss findings and their importance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in AI safety research or related fields.
  • Familiarity with ethical implications of AI systems.
  • Background in interdisciplinary collaboration across ML, physics, policy, and business.
