The Intelligent Creation Team, which focuses on AI, special effects, and audio-video creation technology, is looking for talented individuals to join us in 2025. This team is responsible for developing core technologies that enhance content understanding, creation, and interactive experiences across various platforms. As a Research Scientist in Generative AI, you will engage in cutting-edge research and development in computer vision and machine learning, particularly in generative AI, which includes image, video, and 3D generation. You will have the opportunity to transfer advanced technologies to TikTok and explore new products that leverage artificial intelligence at their core. Successful candidates will be expected to conduct innovative research that pushes the boundaries of generative AI, collaborating with other teams to integrate these technologies into TikTok's products. Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision and machine learning, especially in the areas of generative AI (e.g. image, video, or 3D generation).
• Transfer advanced technologies to TikTok and other products.
• Explore new products with artificial intelligence technology at its core.

Requirements

• Current Ph.D or recent Ph.D graduates in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Highly competent in algorithms and programming; Strong coding skills in Python/C++.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in multimodal generation, such as text-to-image/video/3D generation and editing.
• Knowledge of diffusion models, GANs, and transformers for generation tasks.
• Experience with large-scale training, RLHF, and generative AI.
• Publications in top-tier venues such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGGRAPH or SIGGRAPH Asia.
